Is it true there is only a set amount of key numbers made? Would the ignition switch have a number on it

Yeah, they should have a number on it. If you take the key switch out and twist the thing off of it

there should be a number on that key. I can't remember 100% if Suzuki has the numbers on the key

but I'm pretty sure they do. It'll be on a flat spot. All you do is on the front of it

you take your key out of the ignition switch. There'll be a bezel on there. Spin that bezel out and you'll be able to pull the key back

And when you pull it back, there's a flat spot on the key. And usually there's a number stamped on there

Most of the time that'll give you a key number. And then you just order that specific key number
